The Town of High Prairie employs two Peace Officers that carry out Bylaws set by Town Council for the Town of High Prairie's continued safety.

The Town of High Prairie Peace Officers also provide dog catching services for the Town. All stray or unregistered animals will be taken to the pound until they are reclaimed or relocated to the nearest SPCA, or animal rescue center. For more information on this please see the Animal Control Bylaw.

The Town of High Prairie Peace Officers also visit our local educational centers, educating and enforcing the Curfew Bylaw and the Fighting and Intimidation Bylaw.

The Town of High Prairie takes pride in its appearance and maintains a certain standard by having the Peace Officers enforce the Nuisance and Unsightly Premises Bylaw.
